Free Mother’s Day Concert
When? Sunday, May 12th from 5 pm to 9 pm
Where? Eastwood Park, 3001 Parkwood St., El Paso TX
Free live entertainment in the park- what more do you need? The jams start at 5 pm, though feel free to arrive earlier. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food to grill or to just take advantage of the local food trucks that will be around. Choose this if you think mom would enjoy a relaxing evening outdoors with family and friends.
Mother’s Day Dinner
When? Sunday, May 12th from 6 pm to 8 pm
Where? Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course, 12000 McCombs St., El Paso TX
If you want to give mom something more in-depth this year, the Mother’s Day Dinner at Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course is a more extravagant (yet also pricier) option. The meal, handcrafted by Azure catering, will include Mediterranean chicken stuffed with spinach and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and smothered in secret sauce. It will be garnished with cranberries and pecans.
Alongside this delightful configuration will be dishes of mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The meal also includes wine and a scrumptious desert. While eating, guests will enjoy the bliss-inducing noises of a live jazz duo. Altogether, this is sure to be an enjoyable and relaxing evening.
Pre-sale tickets for the Mother’s Day Dinner cost $45 each for adults. For kids aged four to twelve, the cost is only $8, while those three and under are free.
