Father’s Day Brunch at the Centennial

What better way to treat dad to a good time than a nice old-fashioned brunch? The buffet here at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center boasts made-to-order eggs and omelets, along with a seemingly endless selection of lunch and dinner favorites.

Juneteenth Kulture Fest Block Party

This is the first in what we hope will be a long-running yearly event- it just sounds so darned interesting! Exotic sounds will fill every nook and cranny with musical performances going on throughout the day and into the night. The wide range of genres include jazz, blues, hip-hop, reggae, calypso, and more. If you keep your ears open, you might even hear the song from that 2018 Nissan Kicks commercial.

And not only will there be jams, but there will be eats. Cuisine styles ranging from Africa, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Creole, Soul Food, and more will be simmering to tempt your palate.

Face painting and dancing round out the festivities to ensure fun for the whole family. If he’s into this kind of thing, this sounds like a great way to have a memorable Father’s Day with dad. Children aged twelve and under are free.
