And now, finally, after incredible amounts of time, research, and energy, the Nissan ProPILOT Assist driver technology is ready for US launch. So, how does it work exactly?

How to Use Nissan ProPILOT Assist
A modern-day pioneer in the world of driver assistance technology, Nissan ProPILOT Assist is designed specifically for American roads and traffic conditions. To turn on the system, the driver only needs to push the blue button marked “ProPILOT Assist ON,” which is located in the right-side steering wheel spoke. Next, when the desired speed is reached, the driver should set the Intelligent Cruise Control.
As long as lane markers are consistently detected, the steering assist—indicated by steering wheel/lane marker icons on the instrument panel—helps to keep the driver’s vehicle in its respective lane. If the car comes to a complete stop for more than three seconds, such as in a traffic jam, then the driver will simply need to tap the accelerator pedal or hit the “resume” button and the car will be on its way to the driver’s desination in no time at all.
