See What’s New for the 2020 Nissan TITAN
2020 Nissan TITAN Engine Specs and Release Date
We can’t think of a better venue for Nissan’s latest model debut than Texas. Just recently, Nissan unveiled the 2020 TITAN right here in the Lone Star State, the perfect setting for the TITAN’s commanding new stance, dominating design and engine specs. We’ll go ahead and tell you what you have to look forward to as its release date approaches.
When Will the 2020 Nissan TITAN Be Available?
Speaking of which, if you can’t wait to get behind the wheel, we have the news you’re looking for. Though we don’t have an exact date of when the pickup will go on-sale, we have a rough estimate.
According to Nissan, the 2020 TITAN will release for sale in early 2020. We don’t know if that means in January or March or May, but if we only have to wait until early 2020 to get behind the wheel, then the wait will be well worth it. Let’s see why.
2020 TITAN Engine Specs
In 2020, the TITAN will be powered by a 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 engine fueled by gasoline. That power plant is capable of delivering up to 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. That is quite impressive for the large light duty pickup truck class.
New for 2020 is a 9-speed automatic transmission that is paired with that engine. It has a larger final gear ratio, offering more torque when it’s needed and better acceleration. In fact, the jolt from 50 – 70 mph is actually estimated to be faster in the 2020 model by nearly 1 second. In addition, in the 4×4 variation of the TITAN, the transfer case ensures total distribution of power no matter the gear.
Lastly, we have to mention the TITAN’s Off Road Gauge for those who like to travel off the beaten path. This feature can show you the vehicle’s tire angle, relative pitch and roll angles. It is engineered to be particularly accurate at higher speeds as well.
Then of course, there are the design changes, but we’ll let the photos show you all of that. We are still waiting for the 2020 Nissan TITAN to arrive here to Charlie Clark Nissan in El Paso, but don’t expect it until early 2020. Until then, contact us if you have any questions about this bold new pickup.
