How Much Fuel and Maintenance Would the 2019 Nissan Titan Need to Circum-Navigate Saturn?

2019 Nissan Titan Driving Range and Maintenance Schedule

Here at Charlie Clark Nissan-El Paso, we have been seeing a lot of excitement about the 50th anniversary of man landing on the moon. While many of us can reminisce about that day, we feel an additional pride because of Texas’ contribution to the moon landing and further space exploration thanks to the Johnson Space Center down in Houston. While the moon still offers plenty of fascination, we are equally amazed by the planets in our solar system.

Of course, one of the most fascinating is Saturn thanks to its thick band of rings. As the second-largest planet in our solar system, Saturn has an equatorial circumference of 235,298 miles (Earth is 24,901 miles). This number got us thinking how much fuel we would need to drive around Saturn (assuming that it was made of solid rock rather than gas), along with how much basic maintenance a vehicle would need for the journey. For our trip around the ringed planet, we chose the 2019 Nissan Titan because Saturn has a moon named Titan.

2019 Nissan Titan Fuel Economy and Driving Range

Thanks to a 5.6L V8 engine (390 horsepower / 394 lb.-ft. torque), the 2019 Nissan Titan has an estimated fuel economy of 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway (please note that this number can vary due to added payload and towing weight, along with your chosen drivetrain and cab size). With the help of a 26-gallon fuel tank, the 2019 Nissan Titan can cover an estimated 390 city miles or 546 highway miles.

If we use the highway-mile driving range, we will need about 431 tanks of fuel to circum-navigate Saturn.

2019 Nissan Titan Basic Maintenance Schedule
