Where to Hunt Easter Eggs Around El Paso
Lone Star City Furniture is putting on an Easter egg hunt at Dick Shinaut Park, and best of all, it is completely free. In addition to thousands of eggs, there will be food, prizes and tons of fun. Those who attend are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and a basket to carry all the eggs.
In case you didn’t know, Easter falls on April Fool’s day this year, or April 1. Hence the reason why attending April Pools Day is perfect this year, even though this event actually takes place on March 31. The event starts at the Armijo Aquatic Center at 10 am with a water safety presentation for children and adults. A Golden Easter Egg Hunt follows from noon to 3:30 pm in the shallow area of the pool. Those who participate can also enjoy free swimming through the duration of the event. Hunt start times are staggered by age, with ages 4 and under starting at noon, ages 5 – 7 starting at 12:20 pm and ages 8 – 12 starting at 12:40 pm.
Something the whole family can enjoy is an Easter brunch and egg hunt at the Painted Dunes Golf Course on April 1 from 9 am until noon. You can get early bird prices by ordering your tickets early. In addition to the food, children will be able to enjoy an egg hunt, jumping balloon and more. You’ll also get a free family photo to commemorate the event.
