2018 Breast Cancer Awareness Month Events in El Paso, TX
Whoever you are, whatever you do for a living, wherever your home may be, chances are that you know at least one person who has come across cancer. Whether it was that person directly or one of their loved ones, practically everyone has a connection to cancer in our modern-day society. Today, our team at Charlie Clark Nissan El Paso would like to tell you all about one of our favorite local causes for raising breast cancer awareness. There may not be many 2018 Breast Cancer Awareness Month events in El Paso, TX, but this one makes up for it. Keep on reading to learn more!
When: Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018
Where: Edgemere Linear Park – Burges High School
In support of the American Cancer Society, members of the El Paso community from all walks of life will come together to join in one massive movement on Saturday, October 20. All are welcome to participate in this historic event, Making Strides of El Paso, by registering in advance online or in person on the day of the walk. The walk itself will not be rushed whatsoever. All participants are encouraged to take their time and stop when they need to; no one will be required to cross the finish line. When the final active participant does cross the line, the walk will be concluded. Making Strides of El Paso will also have a special area for survivors as well as their caregivers. Simply put, everyone will have an opportunity to participate in this incredible event.
While we do wish there were more 2018 Breast Cancer Awareness Month events in El Paso, TX, we know that Making Strides of El Paso will be an incredible success.
