Should you buy a hatchback or a sedan
What are the differences between a hatchback and a sedan?
When you’re looking for a new vehicle, you might be noticing that there are a lot of options to choose from when it comes to vehicle styles. From the incredibly popular crossover to the heavy-duty truck, most of the time, if you’re looking for a vehicle that fulfills a specific niche, you’ll be able to find what you need fairly quickly. However, if you’re just looking for a vehicle that provides excellent fuel economy and plenty of passenger space, and you don’t want a crossover or SUV, you’ll likely have to choose between a sedan and a hatchback.
One of the biggest differences between a sedan and a hatchback is the appearance. Sedans have four doors and a trunk, while hatchbacks are generally considered to have five doors, with the fifth being the hatch on the back. Many times, if a vehicle has a sedan and a hatchback model, the engine and performance specifications will be the same. When the 2018 Nissan Versa and the 2018 Nissan Versa Note are both equipped with a Xtronic CVT, they share the same horsepower, torque, and fuel economy. While the two models have a lot in common, they also have a couple of differences.
Interior Space in the 2018 Nissan Versa vs the 2018 Nissan Versa Note
Drivers who are looking for a vehicle that provides them with a lot of passenger and storage space are going to want to take a closer look at the 2018 Nissan Versa Note, which is the hatchback version of the 2018 Nissan Versa. While the overall passenger volume is fairly similar, with 90 cubic feet in the 2018 Nissan Versa and 94 cubic feet in the 2018 Nissan Versa Note, there is no comparison when it comes to cargo space. The 2018 Nissan Versa Note can accommodate up to 18.8 cubic feet of cargo volume while the 2018 Nissan Versa only has room for 14.9 cubic feet. If you need more room for cargo, the back-row folds down in the hatchback model to increase cargo volume to 38.3 cubic feet.
While the interior space is definitely a benefit to the hatchback style, there are many drivers who find the classic styling of the sedan a better fit for their image. If you’re still undecided as to which style is perfect for you, you can visit Charlie Clark Nissan El Paso, where you can explore the 2018 Nissan Versa and the 2018 Nissan Versa Note. You are also able to schedule a test drive if you want to see how they perform for yourself.

2017 Nissan Rogue vs 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport
2017 Nissan Rogue Sport US Release Date and Pricing
The 2017 Nissan Rogue is a well-established crossover SUV that has very quickly become a family favorite. The lesser known and younger sibling of the Rogue on the other hand, the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport, has yet to arrive to on American soil. This raises the question, “What is the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport US release date and pricing?” Look no further, we have both of the answers.
How is the 2017 Nissan Rogue Different from the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport?
Essentially, a more compact version of the Rogue, the Rogue Sport offers many of the same features as the Rogue but in a smaller and less expensive package. For each of the Rogue Sport’s three main trims—S, SV and SL—consumers can expect to save about $1,500 across the board when compared to the Rogue’s equivalent trims. For instance, the base price of the S trim for the Rogue is $23,820, and the base price of the Rogue Sport is $22,380; the exact difference between the two is $1,440.
If you don’t mind a softer engine and a few less amenities, the Rogue Sport could be a great option for finding a car that best fits your budget as well as your needs. Standard in all of the trims, the Rogue Sport will be equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-four engine pushing out 141 horsepower and 147 pound-feet of torque controlled by a continuously variable transmission. If you’d rather go with an all-wheel drive over the standard front-wheel, that’ll be an additional $1,350.
We are very excited for the Nissan Rogue Sport to arrive in the US on May 11th. We hope you’ve enjoyed our overview of the 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport US release date and pricing. Our entire team is always happy to help, whether it’s a tour of inventory, providing any of our many services or anything else.

2017 Nissan Titan vs 2017 Nissan Titan XD
Differences Between Nissan Titan and Titan XD Engine Options
As plenty of Texans know, a good truck isn’t too hard to come by. A great truck, however, is a whole separate thing. Both the 2017 Nissan Titan and Titan XD are really great trucks, and we are happy to have them both available at our dealership. Both of these trucks look very similar on the inside and out, but there are some important differences between them. In fact, the main differences between the Nissan Titan and Titan XD are their engine options.
Which Nissan Titan Truck Has a Diesel Engine?
All trim levels of the Nissan Titan come with a standard 5.6-liter and 32-valve, V8 gas engine with 390 horsepower and 394 pound-to-foot torque. While the base trim level of the Titan XD offers the same engine, the XD has an engine option unavailable to the Titan: a Cummins 5.0-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 Turbo diesel engine with 310 horsepower and 555 pound-foot of torque.
With its increased torque and turbo diesel engine, the Titan XD is able to tow more as well as carry more in its payload. The Titan has an impressive ability to tow nearly a literal ton (2,000 pounds) and tow nearly 5 tons. The XD equipped with its diesel engine, however, can manage almost a ton and a half of payload as well over six tons worth of towing. Again, both are great trucks, but the power of the Titan XD’s diesel engine cannot be matched by the Titan.
We hope this has helped to explain how the main differences between the Nissan Titan and Titan XD are in engine options. Now it’s up to you decide whether or not you need that extra torque and power of the XD. If not, the Titan will suit you just fine. Either way, we are always happy to give a tour of our inventory or provide any other services that you may need.
We hope to see you soon!
