The V6 engine sends power to the front or all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission that employs a manual shift mode paddle shifter and an electronic shift-by-wire drive selector.

When properly equipped, the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder S, SV, and SL can tow up to 3,500 pounds. The Pathfinder Rock Creek and Platinum have a higher towing capacity of 6,000 pounds.
